Bill Weaver Photographers bio picture

Welcome

Hi I’m Bill Weaver, founder and owner of Bill Weaver Photographers together with my wife Marsha and son Greg ( our videographer) we love helping people tell their stories. Whether your story tells  about your child’s first year, your relationship and wedding or your family we have a deeply held commitment to preserving  your story.

A note about this site...after several years using a Flash based site we decided to move everything over to a blog format. The format gives us a better chance to share our lives with our clients and potential clients and makes viewing our work easier and more personal. We have separate sections devoted to all of the different styles of photography that we do. Finally, since we are moving everything onto this format (until we get caught up) dates shown below each post reflect the day it was moved and not necessarily the date of the assignment. You can find them under the Category tabe in the menu bar above.

While we have lots of photographs here we also have an on line stock photo archieve that can be accessed by clicking on the Portfolio button on the menu bar.

Learn more about us and how we work by following the links below and checking out our photos and videos. A great place to start is by learning more about the people we work with, the challenges they face and how we help them realize their dream of preserving their story.Just click here to start your journey.

Each section mentioned above can be found under the Pages tab in the menu bar.

Thanks for visiting and please feel free to leave comments or questions and we will get right back to you.

Who We Work With

who_work_with

Our clients are couples, families, organizations and individuals  who recognize the importance of preserving the stories of their lives. They all share a deep appreciation of quality, creativity, collaboration and they value the fleeting nature of important moments and events in their lives.

Our clients  all share the common problem of how to go about preserving  such special moments. The need help figuring out what those special moments are and how best to preserve them.

Our clients  want to play a part in how those memories are preserved and have choices that give them the best flexibility over time to keep their story alive. They understand the speed at which changes in technology  can effect their ability to share stories and they want as much technical flexibility as possible.

Do some of these statements sound familiar?

  • Photographs of my wedding day are very important to me. But so are other parts of my wedding, I am having problems figuring out what is important to me. I am frustrated in trying to figure it all out.
  • We just had our first child and we want to make sure we capture the important times in our family’s story. But we don’t know where to begin and we want something different and original. We want something that will truly reflect who we are as a family.
  • We know we should have pictures of our family as it grows. How do we know what is the best format that will remain accessible over time and technology changes?
  • We have a vision of what we want. But we don’t know how to give it form, we don’t know our style preference. We want to work with someone who want to get to know us and help us over many years. We are frustrated and stuck because we don’t know how to tell if that person will  be in business for a long time.
  • I am so overwhelmed with the prospect of planning my wedding I don’t know where to begin. I keep looking for the thread that can hold everything together.

Clients come to us when:

  • They know how the activities of the photographer touch every part of their wedding and play a major role in influencing the flow of the day. They are willing to collaborate with their photographer to make sure their day run smoothly.
  • They have a vision of what they want and they need help putting it into a form and style that fits them best.
  • They have a major life event they want documented. They are committed to the time to needed to identifying their options and guarantee the results .
  • When they want their story to last through time and are willing to collaborate to find the best ways to do so.
  • They want their story to reflect  who they are and they are committed to whatever it takes to get that to happen.

If any of these conundrums hit home with you you are not alone, clients who have been successful in overcoming these hurdles often share common beliefs and commitments.

Clients are most likely to be happy working with us and get what they originally envisioned if...

  • They are willing to commit to the time and effort to learn how to communicate what they really want their story to look like. And they are committed to the time needed to capture their story they way they envision it.
  • They value creativity and  live life artistically from their heart.
  • They value relationship over transaction, and like knowing the people who provide them services.
  • They are willing to take time to identify what is important to them or they already have a reasonably clear idea of what they want and what is important to them.
  • They value collaboration in defining the style, manner and format in which their story can be captured.
  • They are willing to step  outside of their comfort zones in order to find the best ways their unique story can best be told.
  • They uncompromisingly seek creative solutions… good enough is not, they want their story to reflect their uniqueness in an original way.
