And so the revolution begins…..

The long awaited often reviled and confused Minnesota Caucus took it;s place in history last night as lines grew outside of Caucus venues. We all know that Obama took our state and that my friends is no small thing!

As I mentioned in an earlier post I had the honor of photographing Al Franken at the DFL caucus party. To say that everyone in attendance was fired up would grossly understate the energy, and what is most amazing to me is the increasing presence and involvement of young people and not just college students. Our caucus had it’s share of high school kids who will be eligible to vote in November. Because I was lucky enough to witness the revolution of the 60′s I am thrilled to see these kids emerge and step up despite what my boomer generation has handed to them.

Anyway as always being a witness to history especially monumental history is a rare opportunity…here are a few samples from last night.
