Saturday May 20th we had a wonderful time shooting Jason & Liz’s wedding in Ham Lake, MN. The weather forcast was for sun but we got clouds instead which didn’t hamper anything. We had a lot of fun and as always tried some new things. I shot the entire ceremony using long lenses attached to a tripod and monopod. I ususally hand hold one of my really fast telephotos but due to restrictions in the church we decided to both shoot long.
We also really had fun with the families and the wedding party they were all game for whatever we wanted to do which helped make things more interesting and different than normal. We try to stay away from the “firing squad” type of formals and opt more for different angles that will reinforce everybody’s personalities.
Anyway I am not yet finished with the slide show so keep and eye out for that I’ll be posting it here soon. In the mean time here are a few teasers.
Just completed Brandon and Anna’s album. Their wedding was an intimate affair on the banks of the Mississippi River in the Historic Minnesota Boat House. Many of her side of thefamily had not been together for 10 years so we had a great time shooting family photos for them after the reception.

Just completed Josh and jenny’s wedding album. Their wedding was in Februaury at the Landmark Center and they really accomodated us by ensuring there was enough time to get good couple shots of them before the ceremony….it really paid off when in the album.
