We will be having another gallery show this spring at the Frank Stone Gallery in Minneapolis as part of our work documenting the creative process.
The project has its basis in ther journey of Persephone and examines how our journeys into the dark underworl of our souls is a necessary part of the creative process. The project is called Persephon’s Voice and it currently involves two other artists one multi media and e other fiber. I began the project as a way to not only document the process of creation but also as a tool for brining that process to the general public.
this years show has he theme of “unfoldings” and how our entire lives involve critical times of unfolding from relationships to the act of creating. This quote from John O’Donohue says it best.
I would love to live
Like a river flows,
Carried by the surprise
Of its own unfolding
The show open March 17, 2006 with an opening party at the gallery from 5-9.
